Massage

Any person or business that is offering or planning to offer massage in Bristol must apply for a Massage License from the BBHD. This requirement does not apply to CT licensed physicians or physical therapists.

Any person or business that is offering or planning to offer massage in Burlington must register with the BBHD. This requirement does not apply to CT licensed physicians or physical therapists.

Massage includes but is not limited to:

• Foot massage

• Swedish massage

• Hot stone massage

• Aromatherapy massage

• Deep tissue massage

• Sports massage

• Trigger point massage

• Reflexology

• Shiatsu massage
